I researched monitors for a long time before I finally decided to purchase this set. It was one of the only ones with 4-5 stars on most websites I viewed. Now that I have a set of my own, I see why it has 5 stars!!! If you are on the fence about these monitors, you will not be disappointed!! They are great!! No static and it drowns out background noises. I am so glad i decided on these!!

I have been using this monitor for about 3 weeks now. We brought home preemie twins and the need for a reliable, clear monitor was a must. This monitor has both the always on mode and the voice activated mode where you only hear if the baby makes noise. I don't mind the background "white noise", and like the reassurance of the "always on", but the voice activated mode is great for people who find the white noise distracting at bedtime.

I was hesitant to buy this since reveiwers at the Babies R Us website weren't as happy with this monitor as the Target customers, but decided to try it anyway.

One last note...Great range! We have a half acre lot and it works at the back of our lot where our daughter's playset is. That means campfires and even camping in the backyard this summer aren't out of the question!

Try it...if it doesn't work well for you, you can return it in store!

No complaints so far! We have not had any static or problems with it. I love that the batteries are rechargeable- one less thing to have to replace.

I've been using this monitor for 6 months and I love it. It's really clear and picks up even quiet noises. I just turn it down so I only hear the baby when he's fussing. No static. We only use it in the evenings, but I've only charged the batteries twice in 6 months.

works very well - doesn't pick up any interference. You can even keep the volume turned off & watch the visual monitor to see when the baby is crying or noise is being made w/o having to have it turned on all the time.

Also doesn't have to be right on top of the baby, it can sit anywhere in the room & pick up sounds.

My husband does a lot of research on items before we buy them, and he didn't make an exception when it came to a baby monitor for our son. We looked at different websites, and everyone seemed to rate this monitor high, so we decided to try it. We love it! I keep both receptors plugged in, so can't talk about battery life, but love the clarity. Can even hear him breathing if I turn it up. No problem at all with static either. Would highly recommend this product!!

Have loved this product. When the baby was sleeping in our room, we had one in the family room and one in the kitchen. When the baby moved to the crib in her room we moved the family room monitor to our bedroom. Now that we are more comfortable with knowing we'll hear her - we still have one in the kitchen and the other is our 'outdoor use' monitor (so it's gotten dirty with yard work) and batteries have held up well with time not plugged in. Definitely say to get two receivers! Good range, low static/interference. It'll beep when it's out of range but we haven't had too much problems with false positives. Only if our cordless is put too close to it! The light notification is useful too though it's a little slower to pick up activity.

My husband did a lot of research on baby monitors on various Web sites and consumer blogs (digital vs. analog, monitor vs. non-monitor, etc.), and he ended-up selecting this one. The Sony 900MHz BabyCall monitor has a wide selection of channels to choose from. We haven't had to re-set the channel we first selected, and we get great reception. We have a long, shotgun-style 1,638 sqft house...baby's room is in the back of the house, and we can take either of the monitors up to the front of the house or the front/backyards and still get great reception. We usually split-up the two receivers, leaving one permanently in our bedroom and moving the other around the house as we need it. It was a great product purchase.

My mom bought a set for us and a set for their house when they babysit. I just broke them out a few weeks ago and I love them!! They have great reception and very clear sound. I can even listen to a tv show in another room with it. Highly recommend
